The Knights bounced back on Valentine’s Day against Tulsa. UCF was up as much as 12 points in the first half, then the Golden Hurricane stormed back to get within five points in the second half.
Thanks to strong play from Nick Banyard, BJ Taylor and Tacko Fall, the Knights surged late in the second half and finished on top 71-53 over Tulsa.
Banyard shot a perfect 4/4 from three point land leading all UCF scorers with 18 points, adding nine rebounds. Taylor scored 15, Fall finished with nine points and seven rebounds, and AJ Davis had a double-double; 11 rebounds and 17 points.
UCF only has four games remaining in the regular season and find themselves (16-10) overall and (7-7) in the American, smack in the middle. The Knights play on the road against East Carolina and Temple before returning for the final home game against Cincinnati. They end the regular season on the road against USF.
