The Key West High School boys basketball team ended the regular season on Saturday night with a tough 60-44 loss against the Homestead Broncos. Key West struggled in the first half only scoring 14 points, but bounced back and was able to cut the deficit to single digits in the final two minutes. The Broncos appeared to be too big and too fast as they held their own in the final minute escaping on the road with the win. The Conchs (11-6 overall, 5-1 District Play) travel on Wednesday for the Class 4A District 16 Quarterfinal game against Keys Gate. Key West defeated the Knights earlier in the season 68-61 on the road and look to advance to the District Semifinals on Wednesday night.
